When is the best time to attend the Positive birth program?
We recommend anytime between 20-30 weeks pregnant is the ideal time to attend classes. This ensures you have plenty of time to practice the techniques and prepare yourself for your beautiful, calm birth. However, we also have options available to women who are further along in their pregnancy. Please contact me to discuss our intensive class options.
Is it essential for your birth partner to attend these classes?
We understand that it is not always possible for birth partners to attend some or all of these classes. However, we recommend that a support person such as family member or friend attends with you. The Positive birth program emphasises the important role birth partners play and ensures they are actively involved in all aspects of this course.
Is Hypnobirthing only for those who want a natural, unmedicated birth?
Absolutely not! The point of difference between the Hypnobirthing Australia™ Childbirth Education classes and other similar programs is that the techniques provided are suitable for ALL women and ALL births. No matter what your ideal birth looks like, the Positive birth program is for you. Birth is unpredictable. Hypnobirthing allows you to be calm, educated and in control, regardless of what turns you may take on your journey to meet your baby. Yes, the Hypnobubs® and Hypnobirthing Australia™ are both the same program. Hypnobubs® is the International trademarked name for Hypnobirthing Australia™, which is the main name we use here.
Where do you provide Hypnobirthing services?
I provide face-to-face services for the Sunshine Coast and surrounding regions. I also offer classes Australia-wide through zoom. Contact me for further information.
